Cupping is a form of traditional Chinese Medicine which dates back to ancient times. It involves placing cups usually glass on soft tissue areas of the body to create a vacuum effect. Cupping stimulates the connective tissue/fascia underneath to relax. It is often used in conjunction with acupuncture. It aims to assist blood circulation, improve the flow of energy (Qi) in a person’s body and reduce muscle tension.
